As part of my role as a Hobbycraft Artisan, Knitcraft (part of the Hobbycraft brand) asked me to create an illustrated background for each of the four crochet characters featured in 2022's Amigurumi April.

The scenes include a high street complete with shops and school, woodland area with cottage and daisy field and Palace Gardens with Palace, Carriage and Party accessories.

The featured characters were added to the backgrounds and animated by an animator and feautured on Knitcraft's Instagram for their Amigurumi April campaign . You can see it here:
